My name is Nicholas Bright, I am an Aerospace Engineering Degree Apprentice at Rolls Royce Plc. 

From a young age, I have always wanted to be able to apply everything that I have learnt to real-life situations, so when I was in year 12 looking at what I wanted to pursue in the future and how I was going to achieve my goals, I found that the best way to get to my goal was to complete a degree apprenticeship, a highly competitive and sought after course. Realising that the task at hand was very difficult, I decided that I had to do everything I could to up my chances of being selected. So, with the help of my family and friends, I spent a whole year gathering information on how to get a degree apprenticeship. I applied to 4 degree apprenticeships in 2022 and all my applications were advanced to the Interview stage. In the end, I only did the Rolls Royce Interview and succeeded with one of the best interview scores that they had ever recorded for degree apprentices.

I had to do all of the above alone, I had to reach out to everyone I knew to find out how to succeed as there is next to nothing online that guides you through the process. This is where I had the idea that I wanted to make courses to guide future apprentices through the process.

I call this guide, Bright Apprenticeships.
